A warm welcome back to all our families for 2025 - I'm looking forward to a wonderful year ahead at Sacred Heart. As we start a new school year it can be quite a tiring time for our children as they transition back to school and manage new classmates and teachers - it's also often the hottest time of the year!
Even for older children, it can help to create routines which assists your child to settle into the new year.
For example having a regular bedtime routine and a 'getting ready in the morning' routine, re-establishing boundaries around screen time are just a few ways to help.
Welcome Mass
We will have our beginning of the year Welcome Mass and Gathering at 6pm on Tuesday 25th of February - everyone is encouraged to attend! After Mass, we will have refreshments in the Multipurpose Room and it is usually a great opportunity to come together as a community and see friends and meet our new families, parents and teachers.
Sacraments
I have included the dates for the 2025 Sacraments in the Dates to Remember section, so please refer to this for our Year 3 & 4 students wishing to make their Reconciliation (Term 4) or Eucharist (Term 2).
Take Care,
Kate
