                         -              with Kate

We have had a great start to the school year this week in the music room. We danced, we sang and played the drums together. We used the djembe drums and also some new drums - a small konga, a floor tom and some hand drums. Every student playing at the same time, creating the same pattern can be a good tool for regulation, wellbeing and a sense of working as a team.

I was lucky enough to take the Foundation students for Music twice this week, where students met my very special monkey - Bruce! We also played the shakers, sang about some 'Der glumphing' frogs and we loved hiding with the dancing scarves.

There is someone who is hiding,
Who is it, do you know who?
It's me - peek a boo!"
