Year 7 Orientation Day

What a day!!

On Tuesday 10th December, we welcomed our entire new Year 7 cohort for 2025 at Heathmont College. The new Year 7s were lucky enough to have the school to themselves as our senior students had finished up for the year, the current Year 7 students were having fun at Funfields and our Years 8 to 9 students were having a blast at Gumbuya World. 

The day began with a quick assembly them off for a tour of the school led by our student leaders. After that, students got to experience a wide range of subjects and activities - including House sorting, teacher/student familiarisation games, science experiments, arts activities and some sport. However, according to some of the students, the highlight of the day seemed to be the canteen!

We hope that you all had an enjoyable day and got to meet some new friends. Look forward to meeting you all again next year!!
