Mamma Mia

Wow!! Here we go again.... Huge congratulations to the production team, cast and crew for Mamma Mia!! Please enjoy a couple of reviews:

I would like to congratulate Heathmont College on their performance of Mamma Mia, I'm so happy to see the school performing musicals again.

It just never fails to amaze me the courage these students show when performing in front of an audience. Some who have never danced before, some who have never sung before and some who would never have  performed on a stage before, but by gosh opening night they all overcome those fears. They stuck together and helped each other get through, and sitting in the audience you could certainly feel how proud they were of themselves and each other.

It was also lovely to see so many other students getting involved in the show,  with painting the set, lights, sound, backstage , front of house, taking photo's, designing t-shirts and helping in the canteen. When you put a cast and crew together from all different year levels it is amazing the friendships they make and keep those friendships throughout their school years.

I love the culture that musicals create and I have witnessed this with my own girls in school and in local theatre.

Hoping the college can continue every year to perform these musicals, i'm  sure the current cast and crew are ready to go again and also ready to welcome lots of new students to be part of the shows.

Congratulations on an amazing school production! Thank you for giving up so much of your time to provide the students with an unforgettable experience.

It was wonderful seeing Anaya have the chance to get over her nerves and do the best she could in a really supportive environment, and we were very proud of her. Thank you for encouraging her.

We had a great time watching the show, it was very entertaining!
