Visual Arts
It has been a busy term for year 7, 8 and 9 Visual arts students this term.
Year 7 students responded to a design brief by producing a ceramic tile for Tourism Victoria to promote their chosen holiday destination.
Year 9 students explored the landscape works of Vincent Van Gogh and Margaret Preston. I’m sure you will agree they were able to apply learnt techniques to their work successfully.
Year 8 students learnt to apply the Lino printing techniques to their work successfully responding to a design brief for their client “Melbourne Zoo”.
A small selection is provided to show off student creativity and skills. Well done to all the students in my classes. I have enjoyed your creative approach to tasks and your willingness to take risks with designs and refinements.
The results speak for themselves:
