Welcome back to the final year of your child's formal schooling. It is with great pleasure that I continue to work with you and your children this year through the role of Head of Year 12. I am genuinely excited to witness the remarkable achievements that lie ahead for this exceptional cohort.
This year's theme is "Leaving a Legacy." This concept encourages students to reflect on the impact they want to have on their school community and beyond. It involves thinking about the positive contributions they can make, the values they uphold, and the lasting impressions they leave behind as they move forward into the next chapter of their lives.
Most classes have already commenced Year 12 coursework, with many subjects preparing for their first internal assessment (IA1) in the coming weeks. As such, Term 1 promises to be a busy and productive time for many students.
Please note that our retreat is scheduled for this term in Week 8. Further information will be provided in due course. In the meantime, ensuring that we have your most up-to-date contact information would be prudent.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation, I look forward to working with you all again this year.
Kind Regards,
Lucy Fitzpatrick
