My name is Christina Borzi and I am excited to journey alongside your children during this important year of their education. In addition to my role as Head of Year, I teach Food Technology, Hospitality, and Health, subjects that I am passionate about for their ability to combine creativity, life skills, and wellbeing.
As a mum of three teenagers, aged 19, 17, and 15, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges that come with this stage of life. I strive to bring empathy and understanding to my role as we work together to support your children through their Year 8 experience.
The theme for Year 8 this year is Building Strong Connections. This theme underpins our focus on fostering positive relationships—whether with peers, teachers, or the wider community—and encouraging students to develop a sense of belonging, teamwork, and resilience. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.
I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the year and encourage open communication so we can make 2025 a positive and rewarding year for all.
Kind Regards
Christina Borzi
