Our Digital Ambassadors are visiting all year 7 classes this week to discuss our Vermont Values and how to apply them when online.
As Digital Ambassadors, we had the opportunity to host workshops for the new Year 7s, focusing on promoting safe and respectful behaviour online. It was a fantastic chance to connect with them while also brainstorming and learning together. They explored how applying the Vermont Values to their online activities could help create a safer and more positive digital space for everyone. After the brainstorming session, the class worked together to create thoughtful posters highlighting key moral behaviours and pledging to incorporate them into their daily lives. Overall, it was a rewarding experience, and we truly enjoyed presenting to them. -Jovia Year 9
Yr 7 Digital Ambassadors Visit
By Vyomi and Chelsea
Throughout the past week, the Digital Ambassadors went to each year 7 classroom and talked about the three Vermont Values, Integrity, Respect, Excellence and how we can uphold these online and offline. The Ambassadors helped the year 7’s come up with ideas on how to stay safe, positive and excel on devices. The year 7’s also signed a pledge which encouraged them to be polite and respectful online. They all collaborated excellently, which was wonderful for the Digital Ambassadors and staff to see and hear!
