Senior School News 

Welcome back to all of our Yr 11 and 12 students and families, especially those who have joined us at VSC for the very first time.

We have quite a busy start to the Term with the Yr 12 2025 Conference, our Yr 11s first week of VCE, school photos, Athletics Carnival, and a whole lot more!

A couple of reminders:

Uniform

A reminder that senior school students are also required to come to school in complete school uniform. Students who are out of uniform without a valid reason, and/or note from home will be allocated a lunch-time detention which will also appear on COMPASS. 

In addition, students should not be wearing PE uniform throughout the day and should change into and out of this uniform for PE on the days required only.

Lockers

All senior school students have been allocated a locker in order to secure valuable, personal belongings, books and equipment for class when not in use. We request that you ensure these have a lock on them and that the lockers are secured when not in use. This is the responsibility of all students, and any valuable items brought to school are done so at the owners (students or parent/carers) risk.

Medical and Contact Information

We would appreciate it if all families could ensure contact details and any changes to students’ medical conditions are updated if necessary and communicated to the General Office/Sick Bay Attendant promptly.

Communication and Introductions

Please ensure that you/your child check in regularly on Compass for any important upcoming dates, reviewing lesson content regularly, and your child should now be using their education credentials to email teachers with any queries or concerns.

Communication is critical to supporting you/your child’s success at VCE should you have any queries or concerns please throughout the year please feel free to contact your Senior School Student Managers. We look forward to working with you this year and are excited for an amazing 2025 at VSC!
