Group 1

We played, we learned and we grew together!

This year has flown so fast! So fast that it is catching up on us now as we are about to say goodbye to this school year and say hello to the next school year.

It has been amazing to see how much our young learners have grown into the children they are now with so much confidence and independence. They have come to know more about their identity, have gained ways to communicate, have built wonderful relationships in their classroom and school community, and have progressed in their learning and wellbeing.

Lots of wonderful memories have been made in terms of making friends, playing nicely with friends and working cooperatively with peers in group activities. They have thrived in the structured organisation of the early education program and have been fantastic in following their daily schedules either in object or visual form. Their favourite routine activities are group circle time, cooking for Design and Technologies, small group choice-making routine, sensory play and working at teacher-directed station. On the last few weeks of this term, our enthusiastic learners have engaged in lots of water play, fishing games and sea creatures play activities. To get ready for the festive season, we have had an activity in making Christmas tree photo frames and have enjoyed taking photos with a Santa hat.

We have absolutely enjoyed this year with Group 1 and are extremely proud of them all!

To all the wonderful families and carers in Group 1, thank you so much for your continued support and dedication in taking part in your children’s learning. We appreciate you.

We wish you all a Safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
