Room 1 Years 3 -6

Hello Cowwarr Families and Friends! 

There are many things I could say about the first week of 2025 as I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! Firstly, I would like to thank you all for making me feel very welcomed, I have already built some great connections in this community. The 10 amazing kids in Room 1 have shown me what it is like to be a part of the 'TEAM,' and we are building strong foundations for a caring, learning environment. We have established our classroom contract which outlines how we show our school values of Resilience, Responsibility, Self Belief, and Respect within the classroom. 

One of my highlights this week was the Compliment Wall activity. Each student had to sit in front of a whiteboard while everyone else wrote a kind message about them. It was really heart warming to see all the kindness in the room! 

During this week we have revised over our instructional model, practicing each component and trying out new approaches to our learning! Although there has been many changes, Room 2 has shown great perseverance and we are getting 1% better everyday! If all that we ask of each other is to be 1% better than the day before, we will already be 10% better the next day. 

A proud moment for me has been my first 'Neesh's Quiches' breakfast club- thanks to everyone who came and tasted the quiches. This took a lot of confidence for me so I really appreciate those that came and tried them. I will be making them every second Thursday in the Cowfe. 

I'm excited to see what's in store for next week. Reflecting on the week that's been, I have a really good feeling 2025 is going to be my favourite year yet!
