End of Year Assembly

Our Whole School End of Year Assembly will be held at the VISY Stadium on Parkside Drive on Tuesday 17th December at 10am. We’ll be celebrating the amazing achievements of our students and enjoying a variety of student musical performances. Parents & carers are welcome to attend and celebrate the end of 2024 with us.

Final day of school for 2024

**Please note the final day of school for students is: 

Wednesday the 18th of December - finish time 3pm**

We have two handover/preparation days for staff on the 19th & 20th of December - these are student free days.

Start of 2025

We are looking forward to our new Junior School Campus opening at the start of next year. We will be getting the keys next Friday 20th December! It is looking magnificent and we are looking forward to being able to show through our Junior School students and families at the start of the 2025 school year. (details below)

Following the summer holidays, school and classes return in 2025 on:

Senior School (Years 7 - 12, Verney Road Campus)

Wednesday 29th January

Junior School (Foundation to Grade 6 age, Parkside Dve Campus)

Monday 3rd of February

Junior School will be hosting Student Support Group (SSG) and orientation tours on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st January.  The meetings and tours will be a great opportunity to set students goals for Semester One and take a look around our fresh new campus!  Your child's teacher will be in touch to make an appointment time.

A Social Story with some photos and information for students about our Junior Campus will be sent home with School Reports next week.

Santa Bob visit

We had a super exciting visit to school from Santa Bob today! Check out some of the fantastic photos further in the newsletter.

School Holiday Activities

Please make sure you look at the 'Community Notices' page of the newsletter for plenty of fun school holiday activities available around the local area. 

Cooking, pool parties, craft activities and more! Many of them are free and a great way to fill in the days! 

Happy Holidays

School reports will be sent home on the final day of school, Wednesday 18th December.

As this will be our last newsletter for 2024, we wish you all a very happy Christmas and holiday season and we look forward to seeing you all again in the new year for an exciting new chapter at Banmira Specialist School.
