Acts of Love In Action - Grade 1/2 Christmas Gift Drive

This term, students in Year 1/2 have been exploring the theme of Making a Difference in Religious Education. We identified different people and organisations in our lives who make a difference and explored practical ways to bring positive change in the classroom, on the playground, at home, and in the wider community.

Inspired by the great work of the St Vincent de Paul Society, students wanted to support their efforts. We discussed how Christmas can be difficult for some families and decided a small way we could help was to collect toys and books to bring joy to those in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated - Students were thrilled by the response and together we collected many books, games and toys.   Your kindness will help brighten the holiday season for many children and families.
