Years 2 & 3
Welcome to year 2/3 for 2025!
The students and I have had a lovely week and a half getting to know each other and getting started with our learning journey this year. I certainly have been blessed with a very curious and engaged group of learners!
The primary focus of our time together so far has been establishing relationships and building a sense of classroom community, discussing and practicing expectations and
routines, and start-of-year assessment. Everyone has shown a positive attitude towards having a go and giving things their best shot.

Students have completed formal assessments online and have participated in classroom learning, games, and activities that have allowed me to observe them and learn more about them as people and as learners.

The students have also been wonderful teachers, offering help and guiding me through the routines of Cavendish Primary School as I settle in. They have demonstrated much kindness and patience towards me and each other. We are surely in for a great year!
