Years F & 1

It has been the most exciting week welcoming our new foundation students. We were very lucky to have the grade 4/6s come and have lunch with us on the first day. It was great to have them all in together and getting to know each other. 

We have had lots of fun making and creating different crafts over the week in relation to the stories we have read. We read don’t let the Pigeon drive the bus and students created a pigeon and they said how they got to school. We read Pearl Barley and Charlie Parsley and the students drew each of characters and told me a word to describe each of the characters. It was great to see the words students used to describe each of the characters. We looked at the story the koala who could and looking at growth mindset looking at not being able to do something yet. It has been a fantastic couple of weeks.
