 Relieving Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Students, and Staff,

Semester One Student Reports

Semester One reports will be distributed on Thursday, 2nd July through our School Bytes Portal. These reports provide families with a comprehensive summary of student achievement and effort across all subjects. They are an important tool for understanding your child’s learning journey, highlighting both strengths and areas for growth. We encourage families to read the reports together and celebrate your child’s accomplishments.

If you have any questions about the report, please feel free to email your child’s class teacher. Parents may also request information regarding the number of students in each Academic Achievement level by contacting the school office via email.

Athletics Carnival

We were fortunate to enjoy two perfect weather days for our Primary Athletics Carnival this week. The students demonstrated outstanding energy and sportsmanship throughout the events. A special thank you goes to all staff members who helped the carnival run smoothly — including the sports team led by Mr Coon and our General Assistants who set up the oval, the office team who organised first aid, and teachers who timed events and marshalled students. Your hard work and dedication made the carnival a great success!

Canberra Excursion

Our second group of students returned from their Canberra excursion on Friday evening. The students had an enriching experience visiting a range of significant sites including Parliament House, The Mint, The Electoral Office, exhibitions, the Australian Institute of Sport, the War Memorial, Questacon, Mt Ainslie Lookout, Old Parliament House, various Embassies, and the Arboretum. They also enjoyed some fun activities along the way such as bowling.

A huge thank you to our Year 6 teaching team who accompanied and looked after the students: Mrs Bower, Ms O’Malley, Ms Wilkinson, Mr Barrett, Ms Kimpon, Ms Semlitzky, Mr Maloney, Mr Chan, Ms Westwood, and Mr Dingli. Thanks also to Ms Wallace and Mr Thompson for their support with transportation.

NSW Public Schools Parent Survey

In Term 2, we are inviting parents and carers to participate in the NSW Public Schools Parent Survey. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience at our school, including communication, inclusion, wellbeing and how your child’s learning is supported.

Hearing directly from our parents and carers will help us understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made. Participation in the survey is optional, your responses are anonymous, and it takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

You can access at the survey at https://surveyme.education.nsw.gov.au/sc/nY-Nyo_ECTx3tx7ZZetuvA2

Respecting Our Neighbours in School and at Home

We kindly remind all students to be respectful of neighbours both when travelling to and from school and in their own local communities. This means keeping noise levels down, disposing of litter responsibly, and being considerate of others' property and privacy.

Showing kindness and respect helps build positive relationships and a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.

Let’s all do our part to support a caring community wherever we live!
