The Year to Date

Old Kilvonians at the Walsh Club luncheon, March 2026

The Walsh Club Luncheon

We were delighted to welcome a wonderful turnout of Alumni to the first Walsh Club Luncheon for 2026. Former students who left Kilvington 50 or more years ago gathered in the Sport Centre to reconnect with old friends, share memories and celebrate their enduring connection to the School.

Guests were warmly welcomed by our Year 3 Junior School students and were then treated to a beautiful and moving vocal performance by current VCE Music student, Sinclair McClimont.

Our School Captains and Vice-Captains also addressed the audience, sharing insights into student life at Kilvington today and answering a range of questions from our Alumni. Their reflections provided a valuable glimpse into how the School has evolved while remaining true to its core values.

The Grand Reunion

This year marked a special milestone as we hosted a combined 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 Year Reunion for the very first time. The new format brought together Alumni from across multiple cohorts, creating a wonderful atmosphere of connection and shared pride in the Kilvington community.

More than 100 guests were treated to a wonderful performance by the Alumni Choir - The KilvingTones - who shared their talent and enthusiasm. Alumni were then invited to join in a rousing rendition of the School Song, with voices from across the decades coming together in harmony.

Our current Student Ambassadors lead guided tours of the School and provided Alumni with the opportunity to see how Kilvington has evolved over the years. From new facilities and learning spaces, to innovative programs and opportunities, much has changed since our guests were students. However, what has remined the same are the values of respect, curiosity, perseverance and compassion that define a Kilvington education.

We extend our sincere thanks to all Alumni who attended and who continue to support the School.
