Wellbeing & Inclusion
As we come to the end of Term 2, we want to take a moment to celebrate what has been a busy and productive term at St Mary’s. Our students have shown incredible growth, resilience and enthusiasm across all areas of school life, and we are so proud of everything they have achieved.
This term has been filled with rich learning, strong friendships, joyful moments and countless examples of students living out our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. From classroom projects and wellbeing initiatives to sporting events, liturgies and community celebrations, our students have embraced every opportunity with positivity and pride.
PBL Term 2 House Winner – Congratulations Gamma House!
I am excited to announce that Gamma House is our Term 2 PBL House Winner!
Gamma students have consistently demonstrated our core values in the classroom, the yard and around the school.
To celebrate, Gamma enjoyed a special Crocs & Movie Day this week. A huge congratulations to all Gamma students for their outstanding effort and teamwork.

Celebrating Semester 1
As we wrap up the first half of the year, we want to celebrate some of the wonderful achievements across our school community:
- Strong academic growth across all year levels
- Improved wellbeing and emotional regulation through our Positive Education focus
- A record number of PBL tokens earned this semester
- Beautiful community connections through assemblies, liturgies and whole‑school events
- Growing confidence and independence in students across all year levels
- A calm, settled school culture that continues to strengthen each term
- Active participation in camps and sporting events, with students showing teamwork, resilience and school pride
Semester 1 has been a time of growth, connection and celebration.
A Huge Thank You to Our School Village
I want to extend a huge thank you to every member of our St Mary’s village, our incredible teaching staff, dedicated co‑educators, hardworking admin team, our wonderful canteen staff, our supportive leadership team, and of course, our amazing families.
Thank you for everything you do each day to support our students and help our school thrive. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for the way everyone works together to make St Mary’s such a warm, welcoming and vibrant community.
Semester 2
Semester 2 brings fresh opportunities for learning, leadership and community. Next term, we look forward to:
- Continuing our PBL focus and launching Term 3 House challenges
- Deepening our Positive Education and wellbeing practices
- Strengthening our literacy and numeracy goals
- Welcoming families into more community events and celebrations
- Supporting students to set new goals and continue their learning journey
- Helping students become more independent and ready with the skills they’ll need moving into the new year
We can’t wait to see what our students achieve next.
