Don Valley’s School for Student Leadership

Hi MGC community!

We are currently in our third week of being at Don Valley’s School for Student Leadership, and we have gotten to do some amazing things!

So far, we have been practising Mountain Biking, Expo (Expedition) Skills, and doing other activities like Teams Day.

Something we have also been doing has been going out to Haining Farm, a local reserve with endangered species like the Helmeted Honeyeater and the Leadbeater’s Possum.

We have also had some challenges, like Bridge Building. We almost didn’t finish, but in the end, we were able to successfully build a bridge and cross it!

This week, we are going off on our first Expo for one night. We are all super excited and hoping that the rain will go away by the time we head out.
