Design and Technologies Week

Week 3 Term 4 was Design and Technologies Week. This is a national celebration of all things Technology. To highlight this fantastic learning area at MGC, students were able to sign up for a range of fun design and foods workshops at lunchtimes and participate in quizzes during class time. 

Our creative, innovative and sustainably minded students engaged in a Clothing swap – giving a new life to desirable items that no longer fit; Sustainable jewellery - upcycling and repurposing aluminium drink cans into wearable bling; Bookmark design – using card, felt, stitching and posca pens to mark the spot; and the very popular and super delicious Chocolate sauce making– with tastings of course.
