Buongiorno a tutti! (Good day to everyone!)   

This term……

The Foundation students are listening to a story called ‘Sogni D’oro’, ‘Sweet Dreams’. They will be revising what was learnt last term, counting, the body parts song and a good morning song.  We will also learn the language associated with greetings, numbers 1 -10 and learning the colours. They will be revising how to say:

Today is…… (Oggi e` …………)

 How are you? (Come stai?) 

Sto bene – I feel good Sto male – I feel sick  Cosi` cosi- ok

 

The Year 1 and 2 students are practicing reading the whole date in Italian. They are revising numbers 0-20.  Students will practice greetings and replying to how they feel. They have learnt about months of the year and weather associated with each season.

 

The Year 3 and 4 students will continue revising the language associated with greetings, numbers and colours. They have also learnt about the seasons in Australia and how they differ in Italy. They will practice writing birthdates in Italian using months and days. The students will practice reading the date in Italian. 

 

The Year 5 and 6 students are revising weather, months, days of the week and learning how to count from 30 -100.  This term they have also learnt how to say the time in Italian. They are revising what has been learnt this year.

 

On November 26th there will be an Italian Festa in Carlton. I have attached a flyer with information. Hope to see you there!
