Double Denim For Depression

A huge thank you to all staff who donned denim in support of those with depression

On November 2nd staff wore Double (triple, quintuple and even quintuple!!) Denim in an effort to raise awareness (and a bit of money) for depression.

It was delightful to see so many staff draped in denim - it was the biggest turn out I’ve seen in many years of running this day!

There were so many fantastic outfits - and a very tight contest in the fashions on the field contest.

After heated debate and discussion we have a few winners to announce:

Best Dressed Teachers:

3-way tie!

Mr. Lou - for rolling it back to his heyday as an 80s rock god!

Mel Mattson - who managed to quintuple her denim dosage- believe this was the highest number of denim pieces paraded

Dean West - bringing the fruit and fun with a strawberry ensemble

Best Office:

A clear winner - the General Office absolutely destroyed the rest!

All staff rocked amazing outfits - Tanya’s dress/coat being a standout!

In total, we have raised just over $100 that will donated to Community/Men’s Shed  https://www.gleneira.vic.gov.au/get-involved/we-asked-you-said-we-did/community-shed-at-moorleigh-village
