What a blessing to have so many beautiful parents, grandparents and toddlers playing and learning in our Busy Bee groups each week!
Busy Bees is our very own MECS playgroup where we have a wonderful time of fellowship, play and adventure together.
We start each session with quiet indoor play, from playdough to dress ups, puzzles to crafts and cars to sensory trays. Each child is free to choose an activity of interest, building development and social skills alongside their little Busy Bee friends.
Parents and guardians can enjoy a cuppa and a chat together while also engaging with their young ones and all the exciting things to see and do.
During snack time, we sit in a circle on the mat and enjoy a good old chat and laugh with one another.
After snack it’s time for outside play. The children love discovering in our beautiful outdoor space. There’s places to balance and climb, 2 big sandpits, swings and of course the bike track.
At the end of our session we enjoy some mat time with some songs and stories. It has been an absolute delight to watch the children this year grow in confidence and begin to learn the routine of each session.
Many of our Busy Bee children will be graduating into the 3/4 kinder group next year, ready for more adventures in play and learning!
