Back to the Noughties 

The ASC Contemporary Bands are back with an electrifying event! Join us for a night of incredible music that will take you on a nostalgic journey through the 2000s.

 

With music from pop icons such as Britney Spears and Taylor Swift, through to the genre bending rock of Muse and the White Stripes, the night will celebrate a decade of music that has left a lasting mark on our radios, TV screens and the internet.

 

A photo booth will be set up for all guests from 5.30pm in the CPA foyer. Don’t forget to wear your best 2000’s garb!


Throughline Dance Showcase

Join us for the College’s latest Dance showcase, Throughline, as we celebrate the incredible talent and hard work of our Dance students. 

 

Throughline is the culmination of the curriculum work of Year 9 and 10 Dance students. It also includes Original Solo Compositions from Year 11 Dance ATAR students, as well as a collection of cocurricular works choreographed by staff and students. Throughline aims to showcase the choreographic and performance skills of the College dancers, and many of the works have been choreographed by the students themselves.


Bend The Air: The Ultimate Aerial, Acrobatics, and Circus Competition

Mark your Calendars for the 28 and 29 of October 2023 as Bend The Air, Australia’s ultimate aerial, acrobatics, and circus competition touches down at All Saints’ College. 

 

Bend The Air (BTA) is the next evolution of the modern circus industry, presenting an annual showcase of multi-level talent in aerial arts, acrobatics, and circus performance. BTA was developed to provide an opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their talent and to highlight their individuality, artistic expression and entertainment value.

 

The competition is centred around three main categories: Aerial Addicts, Acro Fanatics and Circus Freaks. Don't miss the chance to witness these amazing artists in action at All Saints' College.

 


Graduate Art Exhibition: ASC’s Final Art Exhibition for 2023

Our final art exhibition of the year is fast approaching. This exhibition is designed to showcase the fabulous artworks from our Year 12 ATAR Visual Arts and Design students, alongside our Year 6 graduating Visual Arts students.

Students have been working incredibly hard throughout the year on acquiring new skills, techniques, and processes, using materials in creative and innovative ways. 

Some of the many varied disciplines and techniques on display will include drawing, printmaking, watercolour, painting, paper-cutting, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media works, photography, fashion design, magazine, book, and keychain designs. Something for everyone!

 

The exhibition will be on display from Monday 30 October until the end of the term in our CPA Foyer, during Wanju Café opening hours. 

 

Come on down, grab a coffee and be inspired by our talented students. 


Empowering Digital Citizens: A Parent's Guide to Social Media

In a digital age, guiding our children through the maze of social media is crucial for their safety, well-being, and the development of their digital intelligence (DQ). We invite you to join our interactive online session, "Empowering Digital Citizens: Guiding Our Children in the Social Media Landscape", scheduled for Wednesday 25 October at 6.30pm

 

This one-hour session on Microsoft Teams will equip you with an understanding of popular social media platforms, principles of digital citizenship, and effective strategies for overseeing your child's online interaction while maintaining a healthy parent-child relationship. Our presenters will be Mrs Sarah Moore (Junior School Tech Pedagogy Coach) and Mr Greg Port (Director of Learning Technologies).

 

Through discussions, scenario analyses, and a Q&A segment, we aim to foster an open dialogue on navigating the challenges and opportunities of social media. Our interactive chat feature allows you to share experiences, voice concerns, and seek advice on fostering a positive digital environment at home.

Teen Triple P Seminar Series

The College happy to announce the Teen Triple P Seminars schedule For Term 4. 

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is a highly effective parental guidance program, equipping parents with the essential tools to nurture self-assured, well-adjusted children and adolescents. By fostering these skills, it enhances family bonds, empowers parents to address misbehavior constructively, and proactively avoid potential issues.

 

These sessions will be Facilitated by Ms Sheleen Davis (College Psychologist) and supported by Mrs Jeanette Sealy (Learning Support Co-ordinator).

This program consists of three seminars this term on Tuesday evenings in the Chapel Meeting Room 

  • Tuesday 14 November (Week 6) 5.45pm – 8.00pm: Topic:  Raising Responsible Teenagers
  • Tuesday 21 November (Week 7) 5.45pm – 8.00pm: Topic: Raising Competent Teenagers 
  • Tuesday 28 November (Week 8) 5.45pm – 8.00pm: Topic: Getting Teenagers Connected 

The intended audience for these seminars includes parents of students ranging from Years 6 – 10.
