Celebrating Pleasing Sportsmanship at the Interschool Athletics

Last week's Inter-school Athletics event was a true showcase of our students' positive sportsmanship. Their behaviour was pleasing, as they cheered on their teammates, showed respect to competitors, and demonstrated teamwork. We are proud of their conduct on and off the field. Special acknowledgement to Mr Lee, Ms Haigh and Mr Tomlinson for their organisation and in ensuring that the students were prepared for their events.

Book Week Parade: A Day of Fun and Imagination

Yesterday's Book Week Parade was a delightful and imaginative celebration of literature. Our students and staff poured their creativity into their costumes, bringing their favourite book characters to life. The joy and enthusiasm were infectious as they participated in the parade, sharing their love for reading with one another. We congratulate everyone for their efforts and the selected class winners, in making this event such a resounding success and for fostering a love of literature in our school community. Special thanks to Ms Preston our school librarian, who made this event possible as well as running the book fair.

Kindy Café: A Warm Welcome to Our Future Marangaroo Stars!

This morning, we had the pleasure of hosting the first of three Kindy Cafes, a special event designed to welcome the incoming 2024 Kindergarten students and their families. It was a heartwarming sight to see our future stars engaging with their peers and teachers, taking their first steps into a wonderful learning journey. We look forward to them visiting again in two weeks' time.

As we anticipate the upcoming school year, we want to extend our invitation to any families who may be seeking a place in our Kindergarten class for next year. We currently have a few available spots, and we'd love to welcome more curious minds into our school community. Please feel free to contact our school office for more information.
