Help the JSC win $1500 for RPS!

The JSC have been coming around to each class, giving students and teachers the opportunity to purchase items, in the lead up to Remembrance Day on Saturday 11th November.

You will be able to purchase:

• Badges for $2 and $5

• Wristbands for $3

• Pens for $5

These items can also be purchased at the office and all funds go towards the Poppy Appeal.

This year, there is an exciting opportunity for RPS as well. Watsonia RSL are awarding the school that raises the most money for the Poppy Appeal. The price is an incredible donation of $1500! This money would be amazing for RPS, we could put it towards more games and activities for students to use in the yard, or whatever the students decide. Please help us win this prize by asking your family and friends if they’d like to purchase the Poppy Appeal items. We will be coming around with a tin, so even if you’re not purchasing something, a donation of any amount is welcome 😊

You will be able to go to the office and donate there too.

SPORTS NEWS

This Friday the following teams will be playing in the HDSSA semi-finals.

Boy's soccer 10.45 am at Heidelberg Park, Beverley Rd, Heidelberg.
Girls rounders 9.45 am at Heidelberg Park, Beverley Rd, Heidelberg
Boys bat tennis 10.45 am at Heidelberg Primary School, 120 Cape St Heidelberg.

If teams are successful, they will progress to the grand final. The grand finals will take place 30 minutes after the semi-finals. All students involved in these teams will need to bring $10.00 for the bus.
