In History this week, students are learning about significant personal events or milestones.

VOCABULARY

Change: when something becomes different. 

Chronological order: following the order in which they occurred.

Milestone: a significant stage or event in the development of something.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child if they know some important events or milestones that have happened in their life. For example: their first day of kindergarten/school or when a younger sibling was born.   

Discuss which events happened first and see if your child can put these events in chronological order.
