This week in Writing we are learning to write narrative texts. 

VOCABULARY

Narrative: a made up story. 

Sizzling start: an exciting beginning that grabs the reader's attention.

Characters: who the narrative is about.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

When discussing books with your child this week talk to them about what a character is and some describing words for them. Discuss personality traits. Are they a kind character? What makes them a kind character?
