Annual General Meeting Wednesday, 29 November 2023

This is where our current office bearers will be stepping down, and a new committee is formed for 2024.

Please consider joining our committee for 2024 at this meeting, whether it be as a general member or an office bearer. Contrary to popular belief, it’s important to know that if you attend a meeting, you will not be automatically  given a job to do.

We do however, require a minimum number of attendees to hold each meeting. It’s ok if you can’t make every meeting. Meetings are held generally in week 3 and week 8 each term on a Wednesday night.

We have a very successful system due to our committee volunteering their own valuable time for many years, and a number of our office bearers have served their time and are moving on.

If you take on a role, you don’t have to be present at every single event. We all have other commitments, and it’s a supportive team. Many hands make light work.

At this meeting, we will also be discussing our plan for 2024 in terms of fundraising activities, and what our funding will be spent on for our school.

Do you have ideas or a wish list? Your input is very welcome.

If we don’t form a committee at our AGM, the future of our fundraising activities and canteen is uncertain.

Did you know that our Healthy School Approved canteen is run by our P&C?

P&C News:

Our Spring Festival was a success!l

Our committee wanted to hold a day of fun for our school and collectively, we all made it happen. This includes our parents and carers for supporting this event, and we need to let you know that it wasn’t set out to raise funds but rather a day of fun for our students.

The committee scrutinised our pricing, funding and costs to outlay, and wanted to make sure it was affordable for our families, but also to make sure our funds are maintained to be able to put back into our school.

I am pleased to provide details on the financial outcome of the day, see below. Well done to our students and their families, the school staff and our committee for a successful outcome all-round.

If you have any enquiries, please reach out by either calling the school office or emailing us at ofpspc@gmail.com
