Year 7 Boys Baseball

On Tuesday 24th October, Brentwood was represented by Hugh Hockley, Matthew Brache, Aidan Liew, Joshua Lee, Mark Freame, Jordan Chan, Xander Pais, Artemis Zakopaylo, George Lau, Abdullah Elbeialy, Lucas Ramli & Ryan White at EMR level for year 7 boys Baseball. 

Having not played since term 1 and many of the members of our squad having very little experience, we were unsure how we would go, but were very excited about the day. To the boys credit, they finished on top of pool A winning 3/3 games:

Brentwood vs Lilydale 8-5

Brentwood vs Upwey 10-2

Brentwood vs Balwyn 9-5

Winning Pool A gave us confidence going into the EMR grand final. Unfortunately, we fell short playing against East Doncaster, but we’re still proud of what we were able to accomplish on the day, making it this far and winning games was a massive achievement.

As recognition of how well we played throughout the day, our boys have been invited to STATE finals!
