As we come to the close of another exciting term, I’d like to take this opportunity to reflect on the many accomplishments and highlights that have made this term such a special one for our students.

Year 5: Emerging Leaders in Sport

Our Year 5 students have had tremendous success in inter-school sport this term. Their growth as leaders, active participants, and representatives of Oakleigh Grammar has been a joy to witness. The skills they've developed on the field have only added to their emerging leadership qualities, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they have represented our school.

Year 4: Leadership in Action

The Year 4 students have been hard at work, completing their leadership nominations for 2025. For many, this has been their first real experience of the early commitments that come with leadership roles. We are excited for those who have participated in the leadership workshops to present their School Captain speeches next term. Their enthusiasm and dedication are sure to shine through!

Year 3: Anticipation for Camp

Our Year 3 students are eagerly awaiting their very first camp as Oakleigh Grammar students. The excitement is building, and they can’t wait to challenge themselves, take risks, and build camaraderie with their peers. We are confident this experience will foster greater independence and provide opportunities for them to shine outside the classroom environment.

Year 2: A Term of Hard Work

It has been a busy and productive term for Year 2. Their commitment to their learning has been reflected in the classroom, where rigor, discipline, and focus have been evident in all aspects of their work. Each student is showing impressive progress in their individual learning journeys, and we are very proud of their efforts.

Year 1: Rising to Every Challenge

Year 1 students continue to embrace all that school life has to offer. As a close-knit cohort, they have flourished, taking on every challenge with enthusiasm and resilience. They are well on their way to transitioning into Year 2, and we anticipate a great elevation of their learning as we move into Term 4.

Prep: A Term of ‘Firsts’

Our Prep students have truly blossomed this term, celebrating their first 100 days of school, their first swimming lessons, and many other milestones in their learning journeys. It has been an absolute privilege to witness their excitement and joy as they navigate the wonderful world of school life.

A Collective Reflection

As a community, we have enjoyed numerous assemblies, special events, and shared moments, always embodying our core values of Humility, Aspiration, Respect, and Kindness. Each day, our students strive for greatness—and where else would you rather be?

Thank you to our wonderful families, staff, and students for another fantastic term. We look forward to continuing this journey together in Term 4!
