Dear Parents

As we approach the conclusion of term three, I am filled with immense pride reflecting on the achievements and growth our students have demonstrated throughout these past months. This term has been a whirlwind of activity, learning and development and it is heartening to see the resilience and enthusiasm of our students as they embrace challenges and opportunities.

Our commitment to academic excellence continues to shine with students embracing our 2024 theme ‘Strive for Greatness’.  Final Year 12 exam preparation is underway as our senior students embark on their final term leading to external VCE examinations.  I commend our teachers’ dedication, who go above and beyond in support of every student to reach their potential.

Beyond academics, this term has also been a time of personal growth for our students -whether through participation in our co-curricular programs, leadership initiatives, community service projects – our students are continuously developing the skills and values that will serve them well in their future endeavours.

Our student SRC and leaders have been involved in the process of choosing a new Oakleigh Grammar sports uniform which we will commence transitioning to at the start of the 2025 school year.  Early next term, more information will be provided to all parents with regard to the transition to a more contemporary and comfortable sports uniform.

As we move toward the final term of the year, I encourage our students to remain focused and continue striving for their personal best.  Term four will bring its own set of opportunities and celebrations including final assessments, examinations, graduation and award ceremonies and transition programs.

I wish everyone a restful and rejuvenating break.  Let’s return in term four with renewed energy and enthusiasm, ready to finish the year on a positive note.  I remind all families that term four commences on Tuesday 8 October, 2024 and look forward to seeing you all then.
