Welcome back to our students & families. We look forward to working with you ahead of another busy Term 4!
If you are finding it difficult to fund the purchase of school uniform, please do not hesitate to make contact with Jess McGurk or Heidi Gibbeson at the College. Having the correct uniform enables full engagement with the learning program & supports students in feeling part of the College so providing assistance when required is a priority for us.
Over the year, CCV run a wide-range of one-off parent programs, as well as lengthier workshops. The delivery is both online & face-to-face & addresses a range of range of useful topics. Some programs are free, however some attract a cost. Each term they publish a calendar which will feature on the Parent’s Bulletin & we will also send it out via Compass. In the past, a number of staff & families have participated in CCV programs & have spoken very highly of them.
Please see the attached flyer for what is on offer this term.

Today, 9th of October in National Headspace Day. Headspace day is a National Day of Support for the mental health and wellbeing of all young Australians. At Charlton College, we are so fortunate to be able to access the services provided by Headspace, who, over the years have, and continue to support our students. They provide phone/video and face to face counselling services at no cost to families along with various education programs. Just recently Headspace Swan Hill have established an outreach clinic in the Buloke Shire. This means young people in the Buloke Shire can now access face to face counselling without having to travel. A big win for all!
We look forward to sharing with families what students got up to in next week’s Parents Bulletin.
If, at any stage, you would like further information on how to access any of the services Headspace offer please get in touch with Jess or Tasha at the College.
