They will also research a real sumo wrestler to present this information about them to the class.
Grade Six
Our Grade Six students have just completed their unit of work based on the story book of The Very Hungry Caterpillar (‘harapeko aomushi’ はらぺこ あおむし). Students were required to write their own sentences in Japanese based on the vocabulary and sentence structure we had learnt in class. They also needed to present their sentences to the class.
Staying with the theme of food, the final unit of work for the Grade Six students will be based on a role play of ordering food items at a fast food restaurant, as well as using the correct currency (Japanese yen) to pay for their items.
