From the Principal's Desk

Welcome to Week 9!

This week will be the last newsletter for the term. School finishes next Friday, 27th September and resumes for everyone on Monday 14th October - no staff development day. For the first three weeks of next term, I've been asked to relieve as Director, Educational Leadership in Tamworth again while the Director is on holidays. Mrs Deiderick will relieve as Principal in my absence.

Congratulations to Sophie on being chosen as a soloist for the New England Sings concert to be held next term.  This is a great achievement for Sophie and is a great reward for all the work she puts into her singing.

The Slime Fest is the big event this week. Thanks to the students and families that have registered. Remember, this is a fundraiser for the P&C and all students that register and donate money will get a prize. A couple reminders:

  1. Students may wear the clothes they wished to get slimed in to school.
  2. All students will need a change of clothes for the end of the day.
  3. There are non-slime activities for students if required.
  4. The slime run will start at 1.00pm. Parents and siblings welcome to join in.

  • Respect other points of view
  • Invite new people to play
  • Learn about each other
