Congratulations to our Grade 6 students who celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday, 6 September. It was a truly beautiful and meaningful celebration, marking an important milestone in their faith journey. We are so proud of each one of our Confirmation candidates and pray that they continue to be guided by the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, using them to become the best version of themselves in all that they do.
A heartfelt thank you to Bishop Tony for leading the celebration, and to Fr Alan, Fr Tim, and Colleen for their spiritual guidance and support. We are also deeply grateful to all our dedicated teachers and leaders who played an essential role in preparing the students and ensuring the evening was such a special and memorable occasion.
Last week, PCH hosted their Prep class prayer service in the classroom, providing a wonderful opportunity for families and special guests to come together in prayer. The morning tea was a highlight, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
This week, PEJ held their prayer service, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for both Prep class prayer services over the past couple of weeks.
I'd like to draw your attention to opportunities for our Grade 3 and 4 students and their families to celebrate Mass at OLA early next term.
Each Grade 3/4 class will have the opportunity to participate in a Mass and lead the readings and prayer on this day. The dates are as follows:
After these classes participate in Mass, there is an opportunity for the students and families to share in a morning tea in the Church meeting room. We ask each family to bring a small plate of food to share.
Please reach out to your child's class teacher or myself if you have any questions.
