Basketball
Last Thursday the First V travelled to St Joseph’s College for a trial against their First V. With many First V players from last season finishing at SPC, there has been an ongoing trial process over the last month, with this being the players’ last chance to make a claim for a spot in the team. SPC went down 68 to 48 against a very strong St Joseph’s team that had been together for quite some time. From all reports there was a fantastic atmosphere at the game and many efforts to be proud of. There was a lot of competition for a First V spot with many talented young men attending the trial period. Congratulations to the following boys on being selected for the SPC First V Team for the 2024/25 season:
