Regional Athletics

On the 9th of October, 3 of our Truganina students competed at the Secondary Regional Athletics Championships. This is a highly competitive event where all schools in the Western Metropolitan area compete. This included 8 separate districts including our Wyndham district. Not only was it a massive achievement to compete at District Athletics against schools in the Wyndham area. These students came 1st place in their event which gave them the opportunity to compete at a regional level. Our 3 competitors, Amelia, Manraj and Vimbai were not only great role models for our college but represented Truganina at this event with great pride and sportsmanship. I want to congratulate all 3 students at even getting to this level but also trying their best on the day and getting some great results. It was so great to see them do so well in a highly competitive field.
