Excellence Assembly Term 3
On Thursday the 12th of September we held our Term 3 Excellence Assembly at the college. We were joined by invited guests, our college leadership team, parents of students receiving an award and the recipients who had displayed excellence at the college for Term 3.
The first award that was presented was the Academic Achievement Growth Award. This award recognised a student from each class who had met our college expectations with reading nightly, ensuring that their planner is completed daily and having shown consistent learning growth in all academic areas.

The second award presented was the Outstanding Excellence Growth and Achievement in Learning Award. Here we recognised 2 students per Year level who have high attendance, always demonstrate, and model to others the College Expectations and Values and have shown outstanding learning growth in all areas.

All students proudly walked onto the stage and shook our new college Principal Ms Amanda Williams’ hand as they were presented with their framed certificate. It was a very proud moment for everyone involved.
At the assembly we also celebrated the students who had been participating in the Victorian High Ability program for Term 3. These students are selected by the Department of Education to participate based on the excellence in the learning data. It was great to see so many students standing on the stage together, feeling proud and being acknowledged for excellence.
