Foundation Fire Safety Incursion!

In Term 3, our Foundation students had an unforgettable experience with a special visit from the local firefighters! The firefighters brought their fire truck to our school, giving students a chance to see it up close and learn about its features. The children were thrilled to explore the truck!

During the incursion, the firefighters taught us valuable lessons about fire safety, including how to "Stop, Drop, and Roll," and the importance of having a fire escape plan. The visit was both fun and educational, leaving our students with a better understanding of fire safety and a sense of excitement about the important work our firefighters do.

Animal Land and Children's Farm Excursion

In Term 3, the Foundation students had the opportunity to attend an excursion to Animal Land and Children’s Farm, a great outdoor learning environment. The students followed all the instructions given by both teachers and the staff at Animal Land Children’s Farm. This allowed for a very successful and engaging day. The students participated in a range of hands-on activities, e.g. milking a cow, riding a pony and tractor, feeding the ducks, holding the baby animals in the nursery and planting pea seeds, where they learned about love and care when interacting with animals.
