Joshua Messer - Year 9 HAPE Teacher

What is your role in the College: I am aYear 9 HAPE teacher. 

What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is blue.

What is your favourite number and why: 12&7 are my favourite numbers as they were the positions I played in rugby.

What is your favourite book and why: The Famous Five is my favourite book.

What is your favourite food:  My favourite food is Greek food. 

What do you like most about teaching and learning?- Interacting with students daily, and hopefully impacting their lives in a positive way.

What is your role in the College?

To help students learn by imparting knowledge to them and by setting up a situation in which students can and will learn effectively.

What is your favourite colour?

Any kind of blue, with midnight blue and cornflower blue being my 2 favourite shades.

What is your favourite number and why?

My favourite number is 5 – because we have 5 fingers on each hand and our hands are amazing tools.

What is your favourite book and why?

My favourite book is Girl on the train because I love mysteries!

What is your favourite food?

I love anything with potatoes and lots of mayo. Mashed, roast, scalloped ….I love them all!

What do you like most about teaching and learning?

The thing I like most about my teaching is my students. I love interacting with them, I love learning from them, I love helping them understand the content of any course and I love when they see the connection between what they are learning and their lives. My students are the reason I have always loved teaching and still do!
