Cricket Victoria Clinics
We have seen all year levels participate in Cricket Victoria clinics for the past two weeks, run by qualified cricket coaches. The clinics have been a huge hit with all year levels, where students have displayed zest, a love of learning new skills and learning everything about the sport of cricket!
Students learnt and practised the following cricket skills:
- Bowling technique
- Teamwork
- Catching and Throwing
- Batting Technique
- Fielding
- Rules and knowledge in the sport of cricket
Students participated in:
- Modified games of cricket
- Small group tasks focussing on skill work
- Fun and engaging activities
AFLW Premiership Cup Visit - Monday 27th November 2023
The AFLW Premiership cup is on a tour around Victoria and will be stopping at our school for a visit. This is an amazing opportunity for our students to come up close to the Premiership Cup and be part of the exciting Grand Final week for the AFLW. The AFL will be coming with a team of media including a PR person, videographer and photographer, with the Premiership cup being displayed. A notice has been sent out via Sentral with permission for photos to be taken.
Sports School Victoria Awards
Two of our incredible athletes were awarded special Sports School Victoria awards at assembly this week. The SSV award recognises students who display personal excellence in district, division and regional sport events throughout the year. A big congratulations to Ava (5/6GD) and Jonas (3/4T) who received the award, a SSV medal and voucher for Rebel Sport. Both Ava and Jonas are outstanding athletes who are an inspiration to our whole school community.
Christmas Concert
We are so excited with our Christmas Concert just around the corner!
Bring out your Christmas clothes and get ready to watch the students sing their hearts out! A barbecue is available but you can also bring your own food and picnic until the school performances start at 6:00pm .

Gamelan Performance
This weekend, head along to the Gathering of the Gamelans, 2023!
The greatest gathering of gamelan in the Southern hemisphere is on this Saturday at the Northcote Uniting church, and it’s free. See details below!
