LENT
The school community attended Ash Wednesday Mass with parishioners for the start of the Church's season of Lent.
Lent is a season of personal and communal preparation for the resurrection of Jesus at Easter. The Catholic Church suggests that during Lent we focus on giving, fasting and praying. One way of giving to others is to contribute to Project Compassion, a program organised by Caritas Australia support communities in need. During Term One the school will conduct fun events, usually on a Friday, to raise funds for Project Compassion. Information for these events will be included in the weekly newsletters.

Reconciliation
Our Year Three Students will be preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation this term. All families in Year Three should have received a Reconciliation update that went home with their child this week. Here are the important dates to note:
