Beginning of Year Assessments

The teachers and ESOs have been working with students to complete beginning of year assessments on the students current abilities. These assessments provide valuable information about where the students are and enables us to create a more targeted learning program, inform teaching practices and set individual and whole school goals. It is also used to identify students that will have a program with an ESO or attend individual/small group sessions with Mrs Jamieson.

Over the coming weeks staff will meet together to analyse the data and determine areas of need and extension within the school. 

Learning Conversations

Learning Conversations are an important part of a students’ educational journeys. These experiences allow for the teacher, parent/carer and student to come together and set goals for the semester. Learning conversations are held in term 1 and 3. 

This term's Learning Conversations will be held on Wednesday 14th February and Tuesday 20th February, 2:30pm-4:30pm. It is really important that all families attend a Learning Conversation for each of their children. Please book in via SIMON Everywhere, as soon as possible.
