We have had a busy start to the 2024 school year.  Here are some of the exciting events that have happened already.

Opening Mass

Our College community came together on the first day of school to celebrate our Opening Mass and the Feast Day of St Brigid of Kildare.

As part of our celebration, our 2024 Student Leaders were presented with their leadership badges and new staff members were welcomed to the St Augustine's community.

Essendon Football Club Visit

Last week, Years 3-6 students had a chance to listen and ask questions to Mason, Nick, Zack and Jake from the Essendon Football Club, followed by autographs and photo opportunities for F-6 students.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast 

Ash Wednesday Liturgy

We gathered as a College Community on Wednesday for our Ash Wednesday Liturgy.

During the Liturgy, representatives from each class collected a Project Compassion box for their TA space.  Our Project Compassion fundraising for 2024 began on Shrove Tuesday at our pancake breakfast.  We thank the many families who supported this event and look forward to your support of Project Compassion during Lent.
