HELLO FROM THE DEPUTIES
A NOTE FROM MRS FRAANJE
Welcome to 2024! I hope you and your family are feeling settled at BHCS and are finding a new rhythm as the new year commences.
I am very excited about the year ahead for staff, students, and our wider BHCS community. We have many activities planned to enhance each person's experience at BHCS. I work with a wonderful group of passionate professionals across the school. I work particularly closely with the Wellbeing and Learning Support teams at BHCS. It is my pleasure to welcome Georgie Armstrong into the Wellbeing Team as Head of Student Wellbeing in Secondary, and Carolyn Niewand, who is joining our Learning Support Team as the Secondary Learning Support Coordinator.
Stand by for information about parent evenings, social nights, and wellbeing speakers. I'm energized by the enthusiasm of the people in our teams and very optimistic that 2024 is going to be a year of much growth, not only for individuals but also for our BHCS community.
My office is just at reception; feel free to drop in and share your thoughts or just say hi.
A NOTE FROM MR SESKIS
We hope you have had a great Christmas and New Years and are ready for an exciting new school year!
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our BHCS school community.
To our new students and their families, we are thrilled to have you join us. To current students and families, it is great to have you back with us for another exciting school year.
In 2024 there will be so many learning opportunities for our students that will spark curiosity, foster critical thinking, and prepare students for future challenges.
We believe that a strong partnership between school and home is essential for student success. We encourage parents and guardians to actively participate in their child's education.
Beyond the classroom, our school offers a variety of extracurricular activities to cater to diverse interests. Whether it's sports, arts, music, camps or clubs, we encourage students to explore their passions and develop new skills outside of traditional academic settings.
Clear and open communication is key to a successful school year. We are committed to keeping you informed about important updates, events, and achievements. Please stay connected through our newsletters, website, and social media channels for the latest news and updates.
As we commence this academic year, let's embark on a journey of growth, discovery, and achievement together. We look forward to a year filled with exciting learning experiences and meaningful connections. Let’s continue to grow stronger together!
