1. Tell us a little about your life outside of school? Eg. Family, hobbies. Passions

We both live with our parents and a younger brother. Outside of school, we both love listening to music and going on walks, because it's so relaxing and a way to reorganise our thoughts and take a break after a long day at school.

2. What do you like most about being a student at Marian College?

What we like most about being a student at Marian College is the amazing friendships we have made along the way and the bonds we have created with those people, as well as the really kind and supportive teachers here at Marian. Everyone here is always welcoming and willing to help if you need it.

3. Who inspires you & why?

Our parents are our biggest inspiration. They inspire us to never-give-up. Our parents show us that it’s okay to make mistakes, as long as we learn from them and keep trying. They believe in us even when we doubt ourselves, and push us to reach further and chase our dreams.

4. What are the biggest challenges facing teenage girls today?

We think one of the biggest challenges that teenage girls face today is the impact of social media on their self-esteem and body image. Seeing unrealistic images and standards on social media can really bring down self esteem, especially for teenage girls.

5. What advice would you give to students at Marian College?

The advice we would give to students at Marian College would be to seek help when you need it and to take a break sometimes because you don’t want to be burning yourself out by overworking.

6. Favourite food & drink?

My favourite food is souffle pancakes with icecream and my favourite drink is falooda.

7. Favourite holiday destination?

We haven’t been to many holiday destinations, but we would love to travel the world, Dubai being one of our top dream destinations.

8. Favourite TV show, Movie, Book?

Our Favourite movie to watch together would definitely be the iconic Harry Potter.

9. What are your hopes & dreams for the future?

Danella: Ever since I was young, I've been drawn to the world of medicine. Helping people and understanding the human body are two things I find truly inspiring. My dream is to get into a medicine course (hopefully Monash University).
Manmeet: I hope to get into a computer science course at La Trobe University and then go on to become a forensics computer analyst. One of my dreams for the future is to travel around the world and experience new cultures, food and music.
