Hello, my name is Tien.

I am from a Vietnamese background and was born in Vietnam. My life in Australia has given me many opportunities, and I am grateful for everything I have learned throughout my life.

My career has been interesting and adventurous, spanning many industries and sectors, including education, manufacturing, public relations, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), and interpreting. One word to describe me is “studious” in nature. I love acquiring knowledge in the fields that I am interested in and work in. Throughout my career journey, I have gained many qualifications and am still pursuing more.

My journey with OakTree began through volunteering because I saw the need to give back to my community. After hearing about and witnessing the vision behind OakTree, I felt inspired to volunteer. Since then, I have been working alongside students to help them achieve their educational and future career goals.

If I am not working, you will find me walking, hiking, camping, studying, or doing yoga.

My name is Salote Mulitalo,

I am the new Administration Assistant at the school. I first started here as a volunteer helping in the kitchen and classrooms, so it has been such a rewarding journey stepping into this role. What I enjoy most is learning new skills, building connections with both staff and students, and being part of such a supportive environment. The care and dedication the staff have for the students is what inspired me to continue this journey. I’m very grateful for how welcomed and supported I’ve been in my new role.
