District Cross Country Team 2026

On Thursday 13th May, our team of 55 students from year 4, 5 & 6, travelled to Jells Park to compete in the 2026 Monash Heights District competition. 

The first 20 runners from each race qualified for the Division level competition. There were mixed feelings of excitement and nerves upon arrival. The weather was perfect for this event, clear blue sunny skies. Most students successfully completed the course.

The overall results for the Monash Heights District Cross Country Competition were:

1st-         Mt Waverley       393 

2nd-        Jells Park             433   

3rd-         Essex Heights    480

4th-         Burwood East     508

5th-         Mt Scopus           551     

6th-         Wheelers Hill    681

We have 13 students, who placed in the top 20 progressing through at the Monash Waverley Division competition, being held again at Lewis Road Reserve, 98 Lewis Rd, Wantirna from 10.00 – 12.00pm on Tuesday 2nd June.
