School Council Election and AGM
Each year, there are at least 4 parent and 2 staff vacancies on School Council. In 2025, we have 4 parent positions that are vacant and 2 staff positions (see table below). As such, we are seeking both parent and staff nominations.
If you would like to nominate yourself to join the ASPS School Council, please feel encouraged to complete and return the attached self-nomination form to me via email by COB Friday 17 March.
If you would simply like to find out more, please reach out to either myself or our current School Council President, Phoebe Demiris.

2025 Parent Payments & School Improvement Projects
As per the earlier XUNO message, the 2025 Parent Payments are now payable via XUNO. Your support has a direct and positive impact on classroom programs and is greatly appreciated.
School Improvement Priorities: The school has plans in place to redevelop a number of play and outdoor learning areas within the school (see Zone B master plan visuals below). These works will cost around $250,000 and will be funded entirely via donations and school fundraising activities like the Moonlight cinema and fun run.
In 2025, donations will help to fund the redevelopment of the junior sandpit area into an inclusive playground space (Zone B, Project A). With plans established last year, we look forward to progressively completing this project over the next 2 years (dependent on donations and fundraising initiatives).

Dogs at School Policy Reminder
Whilst ASPS understands that many families in our school community keep dogs as pets, to ensure that our school remains a safe and inclusive place for everyone, we have in place a Dogs at ASPS Policy.
There are a number of rules that we expect all families to follow if they wish to bring their pet dog onto school grounds:
1.) Pet dogs must be leashed at all times and in the control of a responsible adult
2.) pet dogs must not be tied up on school grounds or left unaccompanied
3.) families that bring dogs to school that exhibit signs of aggressive behaviour, bark, or jump may be asked to remove the dog from school premises.
